When did macromedia.com get that new look?

I was on a vacation trip when Macromedia announced the MX 2004 line of products, enough reason to take some time to read around and visit macromedia.com. For my surprise, I found the site with this new color palette, more appealing to my personal taste. Loved it at first sight!

However, I don’t know if the change took place specially for the occasion or before the announcements. I haven’t read any comments about this matter, or maybe I missed them. Either way, what do you think is the reason of this change of look?
