TWO REAL-TIME DATA VISUALIZATION TOOLSSATURDAY, AUGUST 5 2006 @ 02:46 AMJust recently I started checking out Digg for aggregated content, and only a few minutes ago I noticed that they have put together not one, but two Flash applications that monitor story popularity and user behavior in real-time.
My favorite is the one that represent "diggers" swarming around news items, and is called - quite appropriately - "Swarm". The other one has digg users falling on top of stories represented as stacks, and is called - yes, you got it - "Stack". They actually got me staring at the monitor for a while... but enough of that, time to sleep. TRUCKMARCH 19 2007 @ 05:40 AM I personally love Web 2.0, especially Digg, but I also know that it has nothing to do with the look of a website. Yes, I took one glance at the post and got immediately pissed not realizing it was a joke, so sorry for that. But that doesn't change the fact that I'm still pissed at what these guys are making fun of. And popothebright, Web 2.0 or 1.0 doesn't have anything to do with time periods whatsoever aside from the obvious fact that 1.0 had to come first, but no-one stuck a date on the time that Web 2.0 hit shelves or anything.
