Shared Libraries insight
Mario Klingemann over at Quasimondo has posted a long and interesting rant about his personal experience with Shared Libraries in Flash MX.
What I particularly like about this specific article is Mario’s approach to get around the problem of using shared libraries, given the ‘streaming nature’ of Flash. Preloading solves almost anything regarding that matter, but to successfully develop libraries that can be easily updated and safely plugged into the dynamics of a complex Flash application, you definitely need to have some other things in consideration.
Head over to Mario’s posting to have a little more information on the topic.
