PAPERVISION3D: HELLO WORLD 3D

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 21 2007 @ 12:36 PM

Compared to all the Papervision work out there, this is really nothing, but every technology needs a "Hello World!" kind of sample, don't you think?

Papervision3d >> HelloWorld3d

The purpose of this exercise is to show you how easily and quickly you can get started with Papervision3d. Between examining the sample code that comes with the package, reading a little but of the docs and modifying the sample to make what you can see above only took about 15 minutes.

Bravo! The world asked me to return your greeting. ;-)

This technology is very exciting. I can't stop messing with it myself.

Nice! Papervision3D is very promising. Could you possibly share the source with us?

Sure, I can post my class:

http://www.oscartrelles.com/projects/papervision3d/helloWorld/HelloWorld3d.zip

But can't redistribute the Papervision3d sources. To learn how get those you will have to join the mailing list:

Hi there - I am writing about running 2 monitors off one PC. I have recently bought a new Dell desktop and to my horror it only has ONE socket for the monitor which the PC came with. So, being a devoted 2 monitor user, I was rather perplexed as to how I can run 2 monitors from only one socket. People are telling me I need to buy and insert another graphics card...is this right? or can I simply purchase a splitter...?? Hope you can help. Keep up the good work! regards, Richard
