Flash Forward NYC – Day 1

Well, I got to come to the office to get some work done. The day at the conference place has been a little quiet, although I did see some people like Mike Chambers and the Dura brothers walking around, but nothing out of the ordinary has happened as of yet. The opening Macromedia keynote is scheduled for tomorrow morning, though, and it will be presented by Norm Meyrowitz, president of Macromedia Products… let’s see what happens.

I spend most of the morning hanging with the people of the LIFUG, given that they were right on the next table. From what I could get from people, today it didn’t feel like previous versions of FlashForward, they say there’s been less emotion in the air. For me it has been fun, and what I liked the most was to have contact with so many people and putting faces to more names. Perhaps things will look better tomorrow, as the Film Festival takes place in the second day of the event.
